Between midnight and 6 AM, my 2001 Ford E450's Victron 3000W solar system keeps flipping itself from RV to house power mode completely on its own. The bus is parked in my driveway and currently running a mini split efficiently with minimal power draw from the battery bank.

My house has a secondary electrical panel with a 30-amp inlet that I normally use for my Honda generator, connected through a transfer switch. The panel feeds 2x 20-amp and 4x 15-amp circuits. Planning to tackle this P0581 cruise control high voltage error on my 2007 F-53 chassis myself — got my tools ready, just need to know where to start. Already replaced brake switch, steering wheel switches, checked all fuses and wiring from dash to ECU. Horn works fine so clock spring seems okay.

Here's the key finding: disconnected the steering wheel connector completely to eliminate all external switches. Cleared the code and it stayed clear until I started the engine - then P0581 immediately returned.

Since the code sets with switches disconnected and all external wiring checks out, does this confirm an internal PCM problem? Looking for confirmation before spending money on ECU repair. …more

Replaced all the clearance lights on my 2002 Bounder 39Z Diesel with LEDs yesterday but something still doesn't seem right — they work perfectly with the clearance light switch but shut off completely when I turn on the headlights. But the moment I turn on the headlights, every single LED clearance light goes dark! This is driving me crazy - the old incandescent bulbs never did this.

I've checked the fuses, swapped out different LED bulbs, and even tested the voltage at the fixtures. Everything seems fine until those headlights come on.
